Arlington, TX, December 30, 2018 -- Today, I am announcing my candidacy for the Office of Arlington (TX) City Council, District 3. This is the fastest growing district in Arlington and southeast Tarrant County. It includes Tarrant County College Southeast Campus, The Highlands (shopping mall), Arlington Municipal Airport, and Boys and Girls Club of Arlington.
I served our great country honorably for 7 years and 9 months in the United States Air Force and 30 years as an air traffic controller with the Federal Aviation Administration, ensuring the safety of the flying public and protecting our national airspace system.
I'm ready and prepared to serve and represent this district by addressing public safety, transportation, economic development and environmental concerns at city hall. As a 28-year resident, I have worked with local schools, crime watch groups, nonprofit organizations and communities to improve the quality of life for our citizens. I welcome and value your ideas and support of creating a safer, smarter, and greener Arlington. Together, we can make Arlington an incredible place to live, work, and play.
Keeping the faith. Keeping the fight. Keeping the focus. Always on the move. Always moving forward!
